Isn't it crazy?

School's been out for a month already...1/3 gone. I've sort of settled into a half TAC/half home world.
I still talk to alot of my TAC people, but my social time is mostly spent with my darling high school friends.
I still have to squelch the inclination to bring a jacket with me when I'm going to be out at night, but I can at least sleep when it's humid now.
I actually spend more time talking to people than reading, which is a bit annoying because I want to get through alot of books this summer, but good because these people won't be around when I go back to school, and my books will. Not like I'll have time to read them, or anything, but they will be around.
I've gotten used to living with my family again, as a part of the family and not as a half-guest like on flying 2-3 week home visits.
I have even gotten used to watching movies inside, sitting on sofas. That was a biggie.
So, with all that...I think my summer is going very well. I definitely want more of it, and just hope that when it ends I'll be ready to go back. I am honestly not really missing TAC at all, except for sudden, awful pangs when I see a face that almost looks like a friend, or hear a laugh that reminds me of someone, or think of an Aristotle joke and have no one to share it with.
I hope all of your summers are going so well, dear friends. Even if I am not actively pining for TAC, I do miss all of the familiar faces and wonderful people out there.
Oh, and I REALLY miss daily mass! Our parish is talking about starting up a 5:30 mass, but until then there is no mass I can get to with my work schedule! Oh, well, at least my parish is good on Sundays...

Comments:
I can't believe you'd wimp out on us like that.

Inside is bad enough, but on SOFAS?

Well, I suppose you have to have some substitue for pillowboys. :P
