Pictures, finally.

Look, I really do have pictures! I wasn't lying!

We had a tea party (as mentioned on Kate's blog). It was way fun. Gina, Courtney, me, Mary, and Michelle, from left to right.

Me. Mud. After beating the whole school in a tug-of-war(something sophomores have NEVER done) and throwing all of the freshmen in the mud (tradition) and being thrown into the mud in turn.

Mary had corn rows, so Peter naturally had to tie her hair in lots of knots. This was at Kitty's birthday party (sushi!!)

Kitty, Mary and I. Mary is wearing the dress Nanna made for Aunt Kathy years ago and gave to me for college. I'm wearing Amy's dress. So is Kitty.

That's my chair on top of a car. With my crazy guy friends and their crazy 'Mexican' hats, having way too much fun. Will, Nick, John, from left to right. Fun stuff.

My friend Michelle.

Jen-Jen and Amy-darling.

me and my darling Amy.

Prayers!

I've just heard that the Torres baby, Susan Anne,(mentioned in my post last month) died at 5 weeks from a surgery to repair a perforated intestine. Please pray for that family! To quote my aunt:
"It was such a long and courageous struggle to successfully keep Susan alive long enough to allow her unborn daughter to reach a gestational age at which she would have a chance at life. It's so hard to understand God's Will in this, but as always, we must trust Him. Surely the example her parents set in their fight for her life and baby Susan's precious innocence has affected many and hopefully changed some people's
minds about the importance of protecting the unborn."

I think she said it best, and I don't think she'll mind me quoting her.

Geographical Elitism

So, apparently it's more proper to man to live in a place with four seasons. Apparently California has seasons? My theology tutor can be a bit odd sometimes, I think. He says that Alaska, for instance, is not a proper place for men to live because it's just too cold for man to acheive his end, because they have to fight so hard to live. I think that absurd, personally. He also doesn't think people should live in the Middle East. Which, naturally, explains why the Promised Land was in the Middle East. God told them to go live somewhere that isn't fit for life. Makes total sense.
Other than that, everything is going really well. I swear I will get up pictures. Soon. I have them, I just haven't managed to get them from my room to a computer with internet access. Anyway, look forward to such exciting sights as me, covered in mud and me, upside down. And other stuff. Not sure what yet.
Anyway, I need to go call a certain excited and giggly Brittany. Love you all!
