I do exist! Really!
Haha! I'm posting! With words, and not pictures! Amazing, no?Anyway, I'm at home, and have been since Saturday. I'm leaving tomorrow *sniff* so I won't see my family again until Thanksgiving. *sniffsniff* But I get to see JenJen and SashaWasha and peoples again. (yay!) and JenJen won't be bored stiff anymore(yay!).
I've had tons of fun at home. Pictures will follow of night croquet with my mom, my aunt, Mary, and our friend Bill(not playing, but providing entertainment and light). I suppose I haven't actually done all that much here, but it's been lovely. Oh, and I had a super yummy italian meal made by my Nanna. Mmm... and I saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory with my fun auntie Boomba.
Random query: Why does one's cell phone never ring when one isn't doing anything, but the second you're busy, it rings off the hook? I was busy for a whopping 6 hours last night, and I swear I got 4 phone calls, all of pressing urgency that needed to be dealt with. Normally no one calls me at all.
Hmm...oh, for the record, I have the sweetest boyfriend ever.
Oh! Good news! I know most of you have heard about this, but for anyone who doesn't know, Susan Torres, a UD grad(in my cousin's class) collapsed from a melanoma which had reached her brain before it was detected. She was 4 months pregnant then, I think. She was pronounced brain dead, but the baby was still fine, so her husband, despite extremely limited insurance, chose to keep her body alive on life support until the baby could be safely delivered. They kept her alive for the past three months, fighting off infections in her body that could harm the baby, and praying that the cancer wouldn't spread to the placenta. They're a good Catholic family, and the whole UD alumni network has been praying for them. Anyway, their baby girl has been delivered. Read the article!
And now...I should eat something before I keel over *nod* Love to all!
